At Traveltech Experiences Private Limited ("the Company", "we", "us" "our" "EVeez" which expressions, unless repugnant to the context thereof, shall include its subsidiaries), we are committed to protecting your privacy ("user"/ "you" / "your"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets out the manner in which we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information ("Data") of users (referred to as "you", "your", or "user") when you access or use our website [www.eveez.in] ("Site") and the services made available thereon ("Services").

This Policy is published pursuant to, and in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules and regulations thereunder, more specifically the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

The terms of the Policy provided herein govern your use of the Site and the information accessible on or from the Site. The Policy also lays down how EVeez may collect, use and share any information you provide. EVeez reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  1. Personal Identification Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth which are necessary for user registration, identity verification, and customer support.
  2. Location Information: Your current location, trip history, and preferred pickup and drop-off locations. This information is essential for facilitating eBike rentals, providing accurate navigation and route optimization.
  3. Payment Information: Credit or debit card information, including card number, expiration date, and CVV code. This information is securely processed by our payment processor.
  4. Device Information: Your device type, operating system, and IP address. This information helps us understand user behaviour and troubleshoot technical issues.
  5. Driving Information: Data about your driving habits, such as speed, acceleration, and braking. This information is used to improve our services and identify potential safety risks.
  6. Telematic Data: Vehicle location data, including real-time GPS coordinates and related telemetry information such as distance travelled, trip duration, battery status, charging details, ignition status, vehicle diagnostic information, and other performance-related metric, collected through a third-party IoT service provider. This Data is used to monitor vehicle location, manage fleet operations, and ensure rider and vehicle safety.

How We Collect Information

We collect information through the following methods:

  1. Direct Collection: When you provide information directly to us, certain personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, email accounts etc, when you register for an account, make a reservation, or contact our customer support.
  2. Automatic Collection: We automatically collect information about the use of our Service as well as the information regarding your network, network devices, browser version, mobile devices and other media devices when you use our Service or view our content. This includes:
    • Usage Data that is information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), information about your device (system configuration, browser type, browser version), the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and the unique device identifiers;
    • Data gathered by the use of cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies;
    • Data from the internet service providers or the other media device providers who make our Services available on their devices; and
    • We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site or when you access the Site by or through a mobile device.
  3. Third-Party Services: Telematic data is collected through a trusted third-party IoT service provider that integrates with our system to track vehicle location and other telemetry information.

  2. Improving Our Services: To analyze usage patterns, identify trends, and improve our Services, such as optimizing our offerings and customer experience.

  5. Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers, law enforcement agencies, and business partners as described in the Policy. All shared Data is protected and handled according to applicable laws. Any personal information may be shared upon the following circumstances:

  1. With your consent: We may share your anonymised personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of EVeez when we have your consent to do so. By accessing our Services, you have consented to the use of Data hereunder.
  2. With members of EVeez: We may share your limited Data with other users of EVeez for the purpose of content creation, providing you access to our Services, customer support and similar purposes. For example, if you use our Services to publish content, post comments or send chat requests, certain information like your name, photo, bio, and other account information that you have provided, will be visible to others.
  3. For legal reasons: If we are bound by the governing law, rules, regulations, legal process or enforceable governmental requests, then we may disclose limited Data with companies, organizations or individuals outside EVeez if we believe that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the Data is reasonably necessary to protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of EVeez, our users or the public as required or permitted by applicable laws. If we are going to disclose your personal information in response to legal process, we may give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless we are prohibited by law or believe doing so may endanger others or cause illegal conduct. We will object to legal requests for information about users of our Services that we believe are improper.

With LoT service providers: We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services who meet our Data protection standards, to provide Services on our behalf, to perform related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. We ensure that our third-party service providers are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of any Data they access or process on our behalf. The telematics data collected may be used for operational analytics, maintenance scheduling, customer support, and improving user experience on the Site.
  5. For security purposes: If any illegal activity is assumed (technical or payment fraud), then in order to protect the users and the public, and to defend the right or property of EVeez, we may disclose your personal information.

Data Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect user Data from unauthorized access and its unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use managerial safeguards and different measures to keep all the collected Data safe and prevent any identity theft, unauthorized access or use to the Data, or any loss. The measures are framed by keeping in mind the risk factors associated with the Data of the users/or public, hence we try to provide a level of security. In particular:

  1. We use encryption, access controls, regular security audits, and incident response plans to protect Data transmitted to and from our website/services;
  2. We review our Data collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems; and
  3. We restrict access to personal Data to EVeez employees, contractors and agents on a need-to-know basis in order to process it for us to enable the provision of our Services to our users, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

We believe that our users understand that no Data transmission is 100% secure over the internet and a user is using our Site/Services solely at his/her/its own risk/discretion. We recommend all the users on our Site to take reasonable measures to secure their account. Transfer of Business

If EVeez is going to be involved in a merger, bankruptcy, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets and in doing so, EVeez is required to transfer its user Data, or it becomes subject to a different privacy policy, we will notify all our users. This would give our users a choice to opt-out of any such new policy if they do not agree with it and the users can choose to delete their account.

Your Rights

You have the right to exercise control over your personal information provided to or collected by EVeez. These rights among other rights outlined in this Policy include the following:

  1. Right to Access and Review: You have the right to access and review the personal information that we hold about you. Upon request, we will provide you with a summary of such information in a clear and understandable format, subject to any legal or regulatory requirements.
  2. Right to Rectify: If any of your personal information held by us is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you have the right to request corrections or updates. We will take reasonable steps to validate and rectify the information promptly upon receiving such a request.

  4. Right to Request Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information from our systems. Subject to applicable laws and retention requirements, we will comply with such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as: (a) you use the Services; (b) it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy; or (c) as required by applicable laws, regulatory obligations. EVeez aims to retain Data only as long as necessary for relevant purposes, as further retention could expose it to potential non-compliance and the resulting consequences. We therefore seek to achieve a balance between Data retention mandates under various applicable laws, and the principle of data minimization underlying most data protection and privacy rules and regulations. This in turn requires preserving the Data in line with regulatory standards and disposing it off appropriately once such retention requirements cease to apply. Determining the retention period for a particular Data involves an assessment of the reason for its collection including whether a specific retention period is mandated, as well as whether such Data includes personal information.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Policy and elsewhere, the aggregate liability of EVeez for all claims for damages under the provision of the Services, including claims concerning the violation of this Policy, shall be governed by the provisions under the Terms and Conditions as mentioned on the website of the Company.
